In America precious jewelry has often been associated with the movie stars photographed wearing it. ”In Europe and the Middle East sweetie Bracelet, it was the ruling class and the aristocrats you would see wearing jewelry,” Mr. Esmerian said. ”In this country, it is the movie stars. In the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s movie stars liked to wear their own jewelry — even in their movies. They didn’t borrow jewelry like the stars today links bracelets.”
